Sea and Beaches

Murter has many beautiful beaches, including the famous Slanica beach and Čigrađa beach. Other popular ones include Levrnaka, Mana and Vrulje.

The National Park

The Kornati National Park offers numerous hiking and biking trails. Visitors can explore the local fauna and flora, including migratory birds and rare plants.

Tisno

This small town on the island of Murter is famous for its annual Garden Tisno music festival. You can also visit the movable bridge that connects the island of Murter with the mainland.

Murter Old Town

The old town of Murter is a charming old town with narrow alleys, stone houses and a picturesque harbour. Here you can take a walk along the city walls, visit St Michael's Church and see the defence tower.

Salt Lake of Mir

Located in the Telašćica Nature Park, it is a unique and picturesque place. The waters of the lake are seven times saltier than normal and the shores are surrounded by a variety of unique plants and animals, including endemic species of orchids.

Oil producers

The island's olive groves produce high quality oil thanks to their geographical location and the Mediterranean climate. Most of Murter's oil producers offer tastings and guided tours of their farms.

Skradinski Buk waterfall

The Skradinski Buk waterfall is a natural spectacle located in the Krka National Park. About 800 metres long, the crystal-clear waters of the Krka River cascade into a series of waterfalls, forming natural pools where you can swim.

Ancient City of Šibenik

Šibenik boasts an interesting cultural and historical heritage. The old town is characterised by narrow cobbled streets, stone houses and an impressive cathedral dating back to the 15th century. The city is an important tourist destination for those who love art and history.

Village of Trogir

Trogir is a medieval UNESCO World Heritage town. The town is famous for its Romanesque cathedral, bell tower and loggia, all remarkable examples of medieval Croatian architecture. It is also a popular tourist destination, thanks to its beautiful beaches and numerous restaurants.
